Kelly Nash grew up in Davie, Florida a city situated outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kelly Nash grew up boating and fishing with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash and Carolyn Nash are her two sisters. Kelly Nash is from the English, Irish and Swedish ethnic groups. Her great-grandfather was born in Portugal and later immigrated to the United States.



 Kelly Nash loved the Miami Marlins from a young age. Although Nash had a love of sports from a young age she always believed she would become a news reporter. Kelly Nash received a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina in 2006. Clemson granted her with a Master's degree in Youth Development Leadership. As a condition of covering the baseball and soccer teams for the Sports information Department career, she was awarded an athletic scholarship that was full-time through the Clemson Academic Department.



 Kelly Nash is MLB Network studio host who appears in several shows that the network airs, including the evening highlights show, Quick Pitch. She also serves as an NHL Network Studio host, Appearing on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. She Joined the MLB Network in March 2015 and Began Contributing to the NHL Network in 2015 when NHL Network's daily on-air Operations were moved to MLB Network's headquarters.
